Enigmatic is, without doubt, a good description of this trek, one of the routes most recently discovered and offered by our advance team.

The expedition begins with a cold plunge into the water and a short swim that leads to 2 long and impressive rappels that, depending on the season, may or may not include more water.  There, suspended high up, one is happy for the opportunity to be alive.

At the bottom, we will visit a large cave, which the locals call the Cave of the Dead, and then we return over walking paths that offer 40 minutes of surprising views in the Oriental Sierra Madre.

Ideally, this trip takes 2 days.  We recommend that you take advantage of your time in Iturbide to go on a trip to La Encantada, el Pozo del Gavilán or to kayak on the Laguna de Labradores.
